Course Objectives
The objective of the course Digital Transformation is to provide students with tools for observing, analyzing and understanding how the role of digital technology is rapidly shifting, from being a driver of marginal efficiency to being an enabler of fundamental innovation and disruption in any sector.
The course will provide students with insights and different perspectives on digital transformation, defined as the use of innovative technologies, data and connectivity by enterprises to create value, revenue and efficiency. Digital transformation requires the business to remodel their own resources, their relationship in the form of ecosystem or platform business models. The course also explores different approach to the transformation, including critical capabilities required to success the battle.

Learning Outcomes
Having successfully completed the course, students should be able to:
(1) Define and articulate the meaning of central concepts related to the disruption, digital technologies role in innovation and understand the new business models in the context of digitalization.
(2) Effectively apply, explain and discuss concepts of digital transformation roadmaps and digital maturity models to solve complex current and future challenges of digital transformation.
(3) Employ the theoretical perspectives to analyze digitalizing firms and markets in form of capability building requirement to enable managerial decision making, while maintain the current organization’s level of performance during the transformation journey
